Founded in 1998 by Fabien Baboz, Philippe Gérardin, and Régis Vidal, Caribara is an independent group bringing together Caribara Animation, an animation service provider based in Paris, Annecy, Angoulême, Liège (Belgium), and Montreal (Canada); Caribara Production, an animation production company; and Caribara Communication, a communication agency.

Our history
1998
Three friends founded their animation studio and communications agency in Paris.
2002
Caribara produces the first fully Flash-animated TV series, (“Les Durs du Mur”).
2008
Caribara opens a new studio to produce the first Toonboom Harmony series in France “Willa” : Caribara Annecy is born.
2010
Caribara works on its first feature film, “The Suicide Shop” by Patrice Leconte. Our Belgian studio, Waooh!, is launched.
2014
Caribara co-produces its first TV series, “The Treehous Stories”, marking the launch of Caribara Production.
2018
Caribara opens a new studio in Montréal.
2021
Caribara opens a new studio in Angoulême.
